At the moment, I am reading a very cool book. It's called Shadow Magick Compendium by Raven Digitalis. He delves deeply into lots of taboo subjects. He even goes into the subject of SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder. There is also a section on The Art Of Sigilry, which I have started having a go at myself. There is also a good section on Animal Spirits. Raven Digitalis goes into what Gothic creatures make powerful Guiders.
Here is my own list of Gothic creatures, that make Dark Animal Guides and Helpers. Fox/Owl/Raven/Snake/Spider/Vulture/Wolf/Lizard/Iguana/Chameleon/Bat/Cat/Crow/Black Dogs/Eagle/Dolphin. This is just a small list. There could be even more dark Gothic animals, that make Spirit Guides.
I would highly recommend this book. It is also a nice book to sit down with, when drinking a cup of tea. It is a good read during the Winter months. The Gothic creatures the book mentions, should be highly respected.
